Donathan Brown is a Graduate Teaching Fellow and Instructor in the department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies at Syracuse University. He received his BA in Communication and Rhetorical Studies with a dual minor in Political Science and Philosophy from Illinois College and is completing his MA degree at Syracuse University. Donathan travels the country to various conferences and universities delivering lectures and presentations on race-based hate discourse. Such travel will include the historic bicentennial of the abolition of the Atlantic Slave trade at the College of Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to Syracuse, amongst other ventures, Donathan served under the Communications Director in the United States House of Representatives for Congressman (D) Bobby L. Rush of Illinois.
